zero waste
I went zero waste in 2015, with a toddler, for one year. It impacted my life as an artist to this day and I can no longer make or create art without thinking of the impacts. When I was living zero waste, I would use my garbage and create art with it, which is some of the work you’ll see below. It later turned into a live art performance with Gloria Guns where we performed together to raise awareness about the global waste issue.
Zero waste art is a creative process of producing art using discarded, recycled, or repurposed materials with the intention of minimizing waste and promoting sustainable practices.
