Bio
Mailyne K. Briggs (she/her), is a media professional and filmmaker with over 12+ years of experience. After working at Bigfoot Studios in Cebu, Philippines, Mailyne founded her production company Kilam Media Inc., where she produces and directs multicam hybrid/live productions, commercials, music videos, documentaries and narratives.
After working in the commercial and documentary space helping others to realize their visions for over a decade, Mailyne is also pursuing her goal to build her narrative skillset as a writer/director with a feature film in development that she wrote and plans to direct.
Mailyne is a co-founder of Film Girlz Brunch and a mother, advocating for the environment, social justice issues, mental health, safer sets and diverse industry representation.
She currently lives in Los Angeles but travels back to Canada for family and productions.
Additional Certifications:
Enrolled in the Intimacy Professional Accelerator Program (IDC). Completed Level 1 - Foundations of Intimacy & Consent in 2023.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Certification, in-person from Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA)
