Bitter Melanin, a collection that started as a zine series of the diasporic narrative. The four zines were compiled into one book that highlighted themes of: anxieties around identity, migration pathways and challenges, the return of the self through contributions from the Filipino diaspora, and the final focuses on strengthening relationships and reimagining futures.
